#DapchiGirls: “Abduction Has Turned Nigeria To A Laughing Stock Among Comity Of Nations” – Lamido

Former governor of Jigawa State and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Alhaji Sule Lamido, yesterday, said the circumstances surrounding the kidnap and release of secondary school girls of Dapchi, Yobe State have turned Nigeria to a laughing stock among the comity of nations.
Lamido said if the All Progressives Congress (APC) was allowed to continue in 2019, Nigerians would be turned to fools.
Speaking in Lagos, on Wednesday, while meeting the PDP delegates to inform them about his ambition, the presidential aspirant said it was impossible for the APC to win the 2019 elections.

He was received by members of the state executive led by the chairman, Hon. Mashood Salvador, among other chieftains.
Lamido said no right thinking person would believe the kidnap saga in Dapchi.
“So, they (insurgents) went in convoys to kidnap the girls and nobody saw them. On their own volition, they came back with the girls with the same convoys, with fanfare and the girls came back with luggage. Yet, they (insurgents) can’t be traced. The world is laughing at us.
“The defense minister said the girls are coming back. He didn’t say they will rescue them and so they were never rescued,” he said.
The Dapchi girls were returned by the Boko Haram insurgents earlier on Wednesday back to Dapchi town. President Muhammadu Buhari received the 104 female students of Government Girls Science Technical College in Abuja on Friday at the Presidential Villa.
